I was gently persuaded to take a day off by my boss. So that day was today and after an errand involving lifting boxes, we had a pizza and wine at that Express place. Afterwards, I treated him to Monmouth coffee at Fleet River, where I also had a Caramel Choc Cupcake - three C's which could mean triple Calorie overload woah!!!

Some more home bytes....

We're coffee-holics. There I said it. What can I say, we appreciate a good coffee. We were considering (or he was) purchasing an espresso machine, but in the end opted for this traditional Italian classic Bialetti stovetop espresso maker, which makes just as good coffee as any espresso machine and sooo much cheaper. We also bought a milk frother which makes a perfectly creamy cappucinno or latte. Best investment ever this month.

Cup & saucer by Concetta Gallo, I bought a set when there was a sale a long while ago. One day I wish to host a tea party.

This shade is in our teeny weeny hallway. I like the sillhouette of the people. Excuse the flaky ceiling, it was like that when we moved in, from the condensation in the bathroom. One day I will peel it all off and it will be very satisfying indeed.

Below is a glimpse of our flat, also me just testing out my new flash which my bro gave. I don't really know what style it is. If we owned our own place I would go all out with the decor.

I ♥ this top from Uniqlo. It's a pretty peachy colour, though on the tag it claims to be light orange. I refuse to believe it's light orange. I dislike orange. My trousers cost £4.50 and are from a charity shop.
